Welcome

In this website we talk about the elements of a Muslim’s life.

Islam gives great role for rituals and observances. In fact this is a fairly vast topic, but unfortunately a proper access to them is not readily available for the commoner.

This poses difficulty to not just the converts to Islam, and Muslims with little religious knowledge who may want to learn these things in order to follow them in their daily lives, but even for other people who are interested to know what is going on here.

Here I want to discuss mainly the ritual aspects of Islam, rather than more general topics like philosophy, comparative religion or apologetics.

I hope to engage here anyone who is interested in the elements of faith, rituals and rites of Islam and the spiritual aspects of these.

About myself, I am certainly no scholar in Islam, but would like to share my knowledge and reflections here, and want to learn more in the process.

So whether you are a learner or just plain observer, I invite you to this website to know more about Islam.

I hope this site grow to be a reference site on this topic ultimately. I also hope this to profile the unique message and philosophy of Prophet Muhammad through this.

What information can you expect to find here?

This is not a site where you will look for highly scholarly information on various topics (even though the information contained here can still leave you more scholarly than 80% of the Muslims around).

My objective here is to bring under one umbrella the essential information covering the religious life of a Muslim without introducing too many convoluted descriptions, unnecessary details and hair-splitting arguments. I am afraid that there are not too many sites catering to such a need.

If you were wondering which Madhab, religious sect, scholars etc this site pertains to, I would like to first assure you that Islam is in fact much more homogenous than you believed; and sure this is a Sunni Muslim site. I have followed only acceptable books desribing methodologies most widely followed by Muslim community.

Enjoy reading and be benefitted!
