Tayammum

Tayammum is the alternative for Wudhu or Ghusl when and only when water is not available or is scarce for drinking, or when water cannot be used due to medical reasons.

Procedure:

1. Have intention
2. Strike the palm on pure sand or dusty surface like a wall.
3. Wipe the palms over the face.
4. Wipe the hands, first the left and then the right.
5. Make Dua (supplication) as mentioned in the section for Wudhu.

Whatever negates the Wudhu or Ghusl also negates Tayammum.
